Whoosh Swim School runs in accordance of the academic term which is generally 12 weeks long, the course is separated into 2 terms. There is a break from lessons during holidays and half-term holidays.
Our lessons run over 2 weekday afternoons and a Saturday morning each week during term time
Each lesson lasts for 30 minutes and there is a 15 minute debrief which gives an opportunity for questions and praise.
Please note that parents are welcome to watch the lesson from the seating area by the pool.
Your child will be placed into a class depending on their level of ability and confidence. However we have taken into account that the younger children would need an earlier lesson time than the older children. This is all addressed when you enrol your child.
The cost of each lesson is £8.75 per pupil, lessons are paid for upfront before each term starts, we do re enrolment every half term (Every 6 weeks) so the cost would be £52.50 every half term. Your child will be taught personally by British Olympic Swimmer Lisa Chapman. You can read testimonials and more about Lisa here
Please can you have a look at the chart below and try and match your child’s ability to the appropriate stage as this will help us place your child in the correct class. However your child’s level will be assessed again at their first lesson to make sure they are in the correct class to learn to their full potential.
